    Further, Prashanth Shanmuganathan was awarded Dr. C. A. Hewavithrana Memorial Prize for Physics, Mailvaganam Memorial Award for Physics and The Gulamhusein A.J. Noorbhai Gold Medal for the Best Physics Research Project.

    This is to inform that Premkumar's (Batch 01/02) father Rajathurai has passed away in Jaffna. The Funeral is being held in Jaffna today (16/02/2010).

    We extend our heartfelt condolences to Premkumar and his family at this moment of grief.
